About Us

Working hard to help our UKCVFamily and all those injured or bereaved by the Covid-19 Vaccines

"We aim to be a voice for those that have not yet found theirs"

Our Story

UKCVFamily is a registered charity, 1207178, supporting and advocating for, those adversely affected by Covid-19 vaccination. We are run entirely by volunteers, all of whom are vaccine-injured or -bereaved themselves. Formed in November 2021, and awarded charity status in February 2024, we specifically focus on the needs of UK-based patients, providing help and advocacy; and actively raising awareness amongst the British healthcare system, media, and government. We mostly provide support through our very active Facebook community. We also host online social events, in-person outreach events, provide MP and GP letter-writing support, and organise presentations from healthcare practitioners for our forum members.

To date, UKCVFamily have contacted 379 Members of Parliament on behalf of their injured or bereaved constituents, and we have sent around 500 emails. MP's that wish to know more about our charity, then receive our 22 page information pack and presentation folder. Many MP's help their individual constituents with issues such as benefits applications, blue badges, medical referral and social care issues.  Some MP's have also raised questions in Parliament on behalf of UKCVFamily and their constituent, and others have agreed to support UKCVFamily by organising meetings with ministers and representatives with other public bodies.

UKCVFamily host three private support forums, one for injured members, one for those who have lost a loved-one, and one for our family members who have now become our carers. Facing social stigma for talking about their symptoms, for some members these groups are the only places where they feel safe enough to speak freely. And for the majority, these groups are the only places where the vaccine-injured are receiving any kind of .

support.

As of September 2024, the UKCVFamily forum has more than 2000 injured or bereaved members, and approximately 20 new people join every week. Injured members are 75% female and 25% male, and ages range from 14 through to 76 years. The most prevalent age range is 45–54 years. Many have struggled to get medical, practical, emotional, and financial support for life-changing conditions that began shortly after vaccination.
